About the Course Designer and Instructor

Julian Humphreys PhD, MCC is an Executive and Leadership Coach based in Toronto, Canada. He's worked with senior leaders in global organizations, including PwC, Expeditors, Ferrero, and Pfizer, with entrepreneurs and family businesses, and with individuals, young and old, all of whom are looking to realize their leadership potential, at work and in life.

Julian is also a researcher, writer and educator. He has presented at Harvard and UNESCO, on the topics of coaching and philosophy, and has been published in both the popular and academic press (most recently in the Routledge collection Complex Situations in Coaching and in the June 2022 issue of choice: the magazine of professional coaching). For the past five years he has taught the ICF CCEU courses Psychology for Coaches and Philosophy for Coaches and prior to becoming a coach he taught applied psychology and philosophy at Boston University.

Julian received his doctorate in 2010 from the University of Toronto and has been an ICF-certified coach since 2015.
